COMPACTING ROLLER FOR FARMING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compacting roller for farming effective for suppressing the lifting and digging of the field ground in the case of separating the rotating and moving roller from the compacted ground. SOLUTION: Protrusions contacting their tips with the outer surface of the circumference of a roller body are integrally formed on the inner circumference of a soft cylindrical cover placed opposite to the outer surface of the circumference of the roller body, and the soft cylindrical cover having the protrusions is restored to its original form to press the ground by the elastic deformation of the protrusion in the case of separating the cover from the compacting ground by rotation. The protrusion integrally formed on the inner circumference of the soft cylindrical cover may be replaced with a laminated structure composed of an elastic intermediate cylinder placed in a hollow space between the roller body and the rubbery soft cylindrical cover.
