PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric-unrolling and humidifying machine which is used for fabric-unrolling and humidifying treatments for releasing the tension of the unrolled fabric in a cuttable state and for a fabric inspection for visually inspecting stains, wounds and the like on the surface of the fabric, in reduced processes, and can be set at a low cost and in a small space. SOLUTION: This fabric-unrolling and humidifying machine 1 includes fabric-supporting members 3A and 3B for supporting a fabric 40, conveying members 3C, 3D and 3E for pulling out one end of the fabric supported on the fabric-supporting members, an inspection portion 5 which has an irradiation device 5a on the back side of the unrolled fabric to inspect the surface of the unrolled fabric during conveyance with the conveying members, and a humidifying portion 8 for spraying steam on the surface of the unrolled fabric during the conveyance with the conveying members. The irradiation device 5a is formed in a hexahedron-like shape, and may have a main body capable of emitting light from the front side to the outside, and a light source received in the main body.
