PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification device which has a simple structure and an excellent space efficiency, saves labor for filter cleaning etc., is free from waste generated due to filter exchange etc., surely inhibits water pollution and sterilizes and purifies water, and is safe even when an overcurrent is applied. SOLUTION: Two insulating coated wire copper wire 14 are respectively wound multilayeredly around a pipe body 12 through which water to be treated flows to form coil parts 16a, 16b. The purification device comprises a power switch device 24 installed so as to make an alternating-current power source connected to a plurality of the coil parts 16a, 16b on and off, and an output controller 32 with an overcurrent protection circuit 30 connected to the two coil parts 16a, 16b.
