PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method of a projection image for detecting a radiological sign. SOLUTION: This image processing method used for detecting a radiological signal in a series of three-dimensional image provides algorithm enabling to indicate the position of the radiological sign in a digital volume with a marker. The algorithm also enables to automatically discriminate a malignant element and a benign element. The algorithm has a fuzzy logic method explaining the ambiguity in the image for the automatic discrimination. The algorithm is directly applied to the radiation projection image.
