PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a newspaper stand which enables a person to read through a newspaper with little effort. SOLUTION: The newspaper stand is provided with a post 2 movable in horizontal direction on a panel surface 1 of approximately half the size of the newspaper. The central part of the newspaper is fixed on this post. A platform is installed for maintaining the surface of the newspaper at an angle.
