PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive structure which makes a high degree of molding and assembly precision unnecessary by a small number of components, makes a temporary stop of a cleaning pump unnecessary and permits the securement of a seal between a rotary cleaning head and a nozzle shaft from the start of the cleaning water pump. SOLUTION: The dishwasher has the rotary cleaning head having a nozzle jetting upward cleaning water and rotating nearly horizontally by a reaction force of the jet, a nozzle shaft on which the rotary cleaning head is rotatably journaled and transversely supplying cleaning water from a water delivery opening of cleaning water, which communicates with the nozzle provided in the journaling portion to the rotary cleaning head. The nozzle shaft 9 has a thrust bearing 94 of the rotary cleaning head projecting outwardly of the lower periphery of the discharge opening 91, and the rotary cleaning head 8 has an inclined portion 83 inclining upward with respect to the water discharge direction formed in the opposite portion of the water delivery opening.
