An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel is provided to prevent erosion of a pixel electrode and improve display quality by providing a pixel electrode having a rounded regular square, and a boundary portion overlapping the organic insulating layer and a light blocking pattern. A lower substrate includes a plurality of pixel areas, and a switching device disposed in each of the pixel areas. An organic layer is disposed on the switching device. A pixel electrode is disposed in the pixel area on the lower substrate, is disposed on the organic layer, is electrically connected to a drain electrode(182) of the switching device, and includes a plurality of pixel electrode parts (131,132) and a connection part electrically connecting the pixel electrode parts. A first light blocking pattern(193a) is disposed under the connection part. An upper substrate includes a display area corresponding to the pixel area, and a peripheral area surrounding the display area. A common electrode is disposed on the upper substrate, corresponds to the respective pixel electrodes, and includes aperture patterns including a plurality of concave portions. A liquid crystal layer is disposed between the pixel electrode and the common electrode.
