<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cable support which can be attached to a cable even after it is laid and which can lay a cable with a radius of curvature larger than the permission radius of curvature of the cable. <P>SOLUTION: The cable support 10 has a hard guide holding member 12 curved with a predetermined radius of curvature to form a space 20 for containing a cable 18 along its curve L, and a slit 14 formed continuously from one end A to the other end B of the guide holding member 12 in the longitudinal direction to communicate with the containing space 20 wherein the cable 18 can be contained in the containing space 20 through the slit 14.
