<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposure device for obtaining stable print quality. <P>SOLUTION: In the exposure device, a plurality of organic EL light emitting elements are made to emit light by driving at a constant current based on image data; the exiting light beams are guided to form an image on a color photosensitive material by a lens array 7 disposed on the optical axes of the light beams; the driving voltage applied to drive the organic EL light emitting elements at a constant current is measured by a voltage measuring unit; and an area of the light emitting region is derived from the measured driving voltage based on light emitting area information stored in a ROM 45B. At least one of the distance between the organic EL light emitting elements and the lens array and the distance between the lens array and the color photosensitive material with respect to the direction of the optical axis of the light beams is controlled by an optical position controlling unit 66 so as to correct reduction in a spot diameter of the beam on the photosensitive material due to reduction in the area of the light emitting region with lapse of time based on the derived area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
