<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle airbelt system inflating an inflation section toward an upper position opposed to the side of the occupant's head in case of a side impact. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicle airbelt system includes a cross-section shape regulation portion 22, which permits insertion of an occupant constraint webbing 16 including an inflation section 18 corresponding to the head portion 14H for an occupant 14 into a shoulder portion of a seat back 26 of a vehicular seat 12, thus regulating a cross-section shape of the inflation section 18 to form a vertically long cross-section thereof upon inflation of the inflation section 18. Accordingly, in case of the side impact, the inflation configuration of the inflation section 18 is regulated by the cross-section shape regulation portion 22 so that the inflation section 18 can be inflated toward the upper position opposed to the side head 14S of the occupant 14, thereby absorbing inertia in the vehicle width direction of the head portion 14H for the occupant 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
