CELL FOR REPORTER GENE ASSAY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell for reporter gene assay and to provide a method for producing the cell.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the cell for reporter gene assay is carried out as follows. A donor vector having a 5'- or 3'-side mutation loxP sequence, a loxP sequence and a receptor gene inserted between the 5'- or 3'-side mutation loxP sequence and the loxP sequence, a responsive element of a receptor expressing from the receptor gene and a reporter gene linked to the downstream side of a transcription control region containing the responsive element is transferred to a cell in which an accept vector having the 3'- or 5'-side mutation loxP sequence and the loxP sequence is stably inserted into a region free of an exon and an intron on the genome. A Cre enzyme is then reacted to thereby stably transfer the receptor gene of the donor vector, responsive element and the reporter gene to the cell. The cell for reporter gene assay is obtained by the method for production.
