PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication method to communicate between personal computers by operating a DAA of a communication terminal apparatus side even if the DAA (Data Access Arrangement) of the communication terminal apparatus side is operated at a local current when it is connected to an information terminal apparatus such as the personal computer or the like. SOLUTION: When a digital compound machine 1 and the personal computer 3 are connected through a connection adaptor 2, circuit terminals L1 and L2 connected to the DAA of the digital compound machine 1 and the circuit terminals L5 and L6 connected to the DAA of the personal computer 3 are connected, and terminals T1 and T2 connected to a handset of the digital compound machine 1 are connected to the circuit terminals L1 and L2. As an output voltage of a DC/DC converter for the handset is applied to the DAA of the digital compound machine 1 through letter coils LC1 and LC2 thereby, the DAA can be operated and can communicate with the personal computer 3.
