PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the system size and cost of an active noise canceling system of a linear duct by making an adaptive filter section fast and simple. SOLUTION: A circuit is an adaptive filter comprising an analog electronic circuit, has constitution of a neural network, and feeds an error signal back to hierarchical neural network constitution to achieve adaptive filter processing. The circuit uses a wide-range Gilbert multiplier for multiplication in the neural network and substitutes nonlinearity of the wide-range Gilbert multiplier for nonlinear operation of a neuron part.
