PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forward and reverse changing mechanism to curtail a fastening element so as to reduce cost and size. SOLUTION: The forward and reverse changing mechanism is provided with a fluid transmission mechanism having a pump impeller 104 connected to an input shaft 102, a turbine runner 108 capable of being connected to a turbine brake mechanism TBR via a turbine shaft 106, and a stator 114 capable of being connected to a stator brake mechanism SBR via a stator shaft 110, and an output shaft 120 arranged between the turbine shaft 106 and the stator shaft 110, a first two-way clutch 130 arranged between the output shaft and the stator shaft 110, and a second two-way clutch 140 arranged between the output shaft 120 and the turbine shaft 106.
