PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the accuracy of detecting the amount of an intake air sucked into an internal combustion engine irrespective of the driving conditions of the internal combustion engine having a plurality of cylinder chambers. SOLUTION: A crank angle correction amount Td is calculated based on the crank angle T1 of a crankshaft 22 when air is actually sucked into first to fourth cylinder chambers 12a to 12d for each number Ne of rotations of the engine 14 and a crank angle T2 when the air amount is detected by an airflow meter 64, and pre-set in a control part 68. When the intake air amount is detected by the airflow meter 64, a crank angle correction amount Td corresponding to the number Ne of rotations at that time is added, and the timing of detecting the intake air amount against the timing of actually sucking the air into the first to fourth cylinder chambers 12a to 12d is corrected.
