PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control an engine based on an air amount sucked into an internal combustion engine by enhancing the accuracy of detecting the air amount. SOLUTION: The first to fourth branch pipes 36a to 36d of an intake manifold 34 are connected to first to fourth cylinder chambers 12a to 12d forming the engine 14. A throttle body 48 having a throttle valve 46 is connected to the collecting pipe 40 of the intake manifold 34. The branch parts 66a, 66b of a bypass pipe 62 are connected to the insides 44a of the curved parts 44 of the first to fourth branch pipes 36a to 36d. A part of the intake air flowing in the intake manifold 34 is distributed into the bypass pipe 62, and the amount of the intake air is detected by an airflow meter 68. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
