The shifting device has a shift unit (1) for internal transmission gearbox of selecting and shifting operation. The shift unit has a stop contour (5), which interacts with a raster element (6). The raster element is integrated in a housing (10) of an actuating device (11). The shift unit position is adjusted by the actuating device and designed as a gear shift fork. The stop contour has locking grooves (12,13,14).
