The invention relates to a knowledge- intensive arrangement (1) for handling of scattered data, said arrangement comprising at least devices (3-12, 44) interconnected via a network and provided with different properties and operating systems. The arrangement (1) comprises at least a communication means (2, 2a) con- nectable to at least one of the devices (3-12, 44), said communication means (2, 2a) being provided with at least a communication element (14) for setting up a connection. The communication means (2, 2a) has been adapted to identify the user of the communication means (2, 2a) and, upon acceptable accomplishment of identification, to establish a verified and pro- tected connection via the communication means (2, 2a) to the other devices (3-12, 44) connected to the arrangement (1) .
