A method for displaying host diagnosis information in a digital broadcasting receiver is provided to configure a host diagnosis information picture to allow a user to easily search a desired region. A control unit receives a host diagnosis picture calling command from a user(S200). The control unit diagnoses a host(S202). The control unit configures the diagnosed information by a multi-stage, and generates a host diagnosis picture(S204). The control unit displays the configured host diagnosis information(S206). The host diagnosis picture is classified according to regions. A size of the host diagnosis picture is voluntarily adjusted by a user.
