<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional image display apparatus capable of displaying a two-dimensional image and a three-dimensional image by switching them. <P>SOLUTION: The three-dimensional image display apparatus includes: an LCD 1 on which a plurality of pixels are arranged, configured to output image light having polarization; a lens array 6 which is provided on the LCD 1, configured to function as lens at light which has a first polarization direction, and not to function as lens on light which has a second polarization direction differed from the first polarization direction; and a half-wave film 5 placed between the LCD 1 and the lens array 6, configured to rotate the polarization plane of the image light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
