PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that there is a possibility that a communication parameter is set with an apparatus out of purpose when the communication parameter is set under environment where a plurality of apparatuses exist.

SOLUTION: Combination of apparatuses which set the communication parameter based on information showing capability of the communication equipment existing on a network is selected and the apparatus out of the combination is informed of cancellation of setting of the communication parameter. Consequently, the communication parameter is set between apparatuses of appropriate combination and the communication parameter is prevented from being set with the apparatus out of purpose.
