PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hoisting device capable of changing the hoisting span in an extensive range according to the length of a long object, reducing the weight of the device, and simplifying the control of a hoisting span. SOLUTION: The hoisting device 10 is hoisted by a crane for use, and has a pair of slinging units 11, 12 capable of hoisting both ends of a long object, and changing the span of the pair of slinging units 11, 12 according to the length of the long object. The hoisting device comprises a fixed beam 15 to be lowered by the crane, first and second telescopic beams 16, 17 advancing/retracting symmetrically in the right-to-left direction with a center portion of the fixed beam 15 being a reference, a driving means 13 which is mounted on the fixed beam 15 to allow the first and second telescopic beams 16, 17 to be synchronously advanced/retracted, and the slinging units 11, 12 provided on fore ends of the first and second telescopic beams 16, 17.
