PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical method for producing lamellarinα-20 sulfate or its analog, having high flexibility. SOLUTION: This method for obtaining a compound (I) is provided by reacting a compound (II) with a compound (III) to obtain a compound (IV), then reacting with a compound (V) to obtain a compound (VI), and obtaining the lamellarin compound (XI) through the selective deprotection of P<SP>3</SP>, hydrolysis, decaboxylation, oxidative ring closure and oxidation, and then through the selective deprotection of P<SP>2</SP>, sulfuric acid esterification, the selective deprotection of P<SP>1</SP>and the deprotection of P<SP>4</SP>to obtain the compound (I).
