PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car travelling system for toy which allows users to achieve good results regardless of skills of remote control operation technique. SOLUTION: The circuit 101 for toy has first position information drawn widthwise on a road where toy cars travel in gradation so as to change continuously or in stages from white or light gray to black or dark gray. Infrared-ray light sources 1-13 are installed on the circuit 101 for indicating a position of a travelling direction of the toy car as second position information. The toy car has a detection means of the first position information, a detection means of the second position information, a detection means of rotation frequency of tires, and a control means for performing steering operation and speed control corresponding to travelling distance obtained from the first position information, second position information, and the number of rotation of the tires.
