PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for elucidating lifestyle-related causes that lead to a sensitive skin and for improving the sensitive skin credibly. SOLUTION: Ways of living as shown in the below-mentioned group A are presented to a person determined to have a sensitive skin on the basis of forms or the like of the horny layer cells, and the person is asked to select the ways of living which match his/her lifestyle from the group A. How many of the selected ways of living are contained in the below-mentioned group B is then examined, and the ways of living contained in the group B are determined to be the causes of the sensitive skin. The group A contains: an unbalanced/irregular meal, excessive eating/drinking, a stressful life, insufficient sleep, insufficient exercise, smoking, frequent exposure to ultraviolet, frequent stay in an air-conditioned place, easy to get tired, coldness, stiff shoulders, easily swelling legs, anemia, constipation, and disordered menstrual cycle.
