<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce discomfort that a three-point seat belt causes to an occupant when a vehicle turns. <P>SOLUTION: A memory 16 stores data on restraining structure information that shows the structure of each three-point seat belt 11, 12 installed at a driver's seat and an occupant's seat respectively in the vehicle. Based on either of the structures that restrain largely occupant's right or left shoulders (the right shoulder restraining seat belt or the left shoulder restraining seat belt), a controller 15 controls motors 13, 14 that perform reeling operation and reeling release operation of the three-point seat belts 11, 12 so that tension of the left shoulder restraining seat belt 12 with the structure that restrains largely occupant's left shoulder is set lower than that of the right shoulder restraining seat belt 11 with the structure that restrains largely occupant's right shoulder when the vehicle turns to the right. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
