PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burglar-proof device capable of minimizing wear of a battery as a driving source. SOLUTION: In the burglar-proof device 2 which uses the battery 3 as the driving source and outputs an alarm sound or the like in interlocking with opening and closing operation of a magnet sensor 1, a transistor TR1 which controls current-carrying from the battery 3 to a microcomputer 4 is generally OFF. When the magnet sensor 1 changes from a closed state to an open state, the transistor TR1 is turned ON to activate the microcomputer 4. The microcomputer 4 keeps the transistor TR1 in ON state through a transistor TR2, and turns OFF the transistor TR1 after a fixed time to interrupt the current-carrying from the battery 3.
