PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer an exact image information between a controller and a driving circuit. SOLUTION: This driving device for the display device having a plurality of pixels connected to a plurality of data lines comprises: a signal control part for generating a plurality of identification codes corresponding to a plurality of image signal groups; and a plurality of data driving circuits which receive at least two identification codes among the plurality of identification codes and image signal groups corresponding to at least two identification codes and convert image signals into data signals for applying them to the data lines. Respective driving circuits compare at least two identification codes, then one of the image signal groups is selected based on the result of the comparison and converted into a data signal, and the remaining image signal groups are output to the other data driving circuits.
