<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive seal for a bearing assembly of a disk memory system capable of preventing accumulation of electric charges between a thin film head and a disk. <P>SOLUTION: This electrostatic discharge device used for a hub/spindle assembly of a memory system of a disk/drive includes a spindle, a hub rotatably mounted on the spindle, and a capsule with at least one part formed of a conductive material capable of being disposed to be electrically communicated with the hub, for defining a chamber constituted to hold a conductive fluid and defining at least one capillary tube channel for communicating the fluid to a first opening formed in the capsule.
