PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector in which workability and quality of connector fitting can be improved by dispersing seal fitting force at fitting a male housing and a female housing. SOLUTION: In the waterproof connector 20, an abutting part 17 to be abutted on the housing seal 16 in fitting the male connector 1 and the female connector 2 is constituted by alternately forming a projection part 18 and a recess part 19 along the tip side inner peripheral face of the hood part 7. The projection part 18 has a first abutting face 18a inclined toward the depth direction of the hood part 7, and the recess part 19 has a second abutting face 19a inclined toward the depth of the hood part 7.
