PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device in which wrong operations do not occur, and which can further raise the safety of a vehicle by enabling more proper vehicle control. SOLUTION: In this vehicle control device, an ECU 64 acquires the state quantity and the ID of each wheel as wheel information through a vehicle body side communication machine 200. A vehicle control section 304 controls the vehicle from the acquired wheel information. A wheel kind determination section 300 determines whether a different kind of a wheel is included in a plurality of wheels or not based on the wheel information. The vehicle control section 304 limits vehicle control based on information received from the determined wheel when it is determined that at least either one of the plurality of wheels is the wheel of the different kind.
