PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flooring of parquet type structure easily installable and having decorative effect. SOLUTION: The flooring structure permits tongue-and-groove connection of wooden or similar pieces 18 with a square or rectangular shape in linear or intermeshed composition of the pieces 18. It includes some projections 24 for connection located in two consecutive sides and there exists corresponding recesses 28 on the two sides opposite to the above. Both the projections 24 and the recesses28 have a configuration in the form of an obtuse angle triangle, adopting an oblique arrangement in order to achieve the intermeshing and having inverted orientations for permitting the coupling between pieces 18 to be able to be done according to a simple diagonal movement of of the new piece to lay. The recesses 28 and projections 24 are located in the lower third of the thickness of the piece 18, the first in a lower flange 29 and the second below a flange 25 of the center third of the thickness of the pieces 18.
