PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a smoke-shielding structure for an elevator landing device capable of constructing the smoke-shielding structure between an upper frame of a jamb frame and a sliding door utilizing the existing jamb frame and suppressing increase of cost and increase of time necessary for construction. SOLUTION: After a door, a door hanger and a hanger case 9 are conveyed from a doorway 3 to a landing 2, a mounting fitting 8 is arranged on the upper frame 5. Then, an inclined smoke-shielding plate 14 is mounted to the mounting fitting 8 and the hanger case 9 is further mounted to the upper frame 5 through the mounting fitting 8.
