PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band shifter of a packing machine, which is capable of certainly sending a band having a flat shape deformed into a specific pattern or form and a variety of widths, in the direction of length of the band, using a driving roller of a single structure. SOLUTION: According to the band shifter of the packer, the band is held between the outer diameter face of the driving roller 12 and the outer-diameter face of a driven roller 14, and is sent out or pulled back in the direction of length of the band by the rotation of the driving roller 12. The outer-diameter face of the driving roller 12 is formed into a taper face 12a, and a flange 15 is formed circumferentially on the larger-diameter side end of the driving roller 12. The driven roller 14 is so arranged that the axis of the driven roller 14 is variable in angle relative to the axis of the driving roller 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
