PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side stand switch which can increase incorporating performance, and reduce the number of parts and weight. SOLUTION: A switch unit 50 is attached to a pivot bolt 40 which pivotally supports a side stand bar 20 to a bracket 21 on a vehicle body side so as to be turnable. In this case, the switch unit 50 is constituted of a base 51 made of resin and a rotary 53, and senses the turning position of the side stand bar 20. A first fastening mechanism 62 composed of a groove and a protruding section is provided between a cylindrical section 54 which is formed on the rotary 53 and an engaging shaft 44. At the same time, a second fastening mechanism 63 composed of a groove and a protruding section is provided between a base 51 and the cylindrical section 54. The rotary 53 to which a movable contact point by a flat spring is attached integrally turns together with the side stand bar 20 when a positioning pin 55 formed on one end of the rotary 53 is engaged with a pin hole 28 of a pivot section 26, and changes a switch output from a connector 52.
