A LED BACK LIGHT UNIT HAVING LAMP COVER

An LED(Light Emitting Diode) backlight unit with a lamp cover is provided to form a stopper to at least one surface between upper and lower curved surfaces of the lamp cover, thereby preventing the break of the LED from being generated. A lamp cover(10) comprises an adhesion surface(11) having the adhered plural LEDs. Upper and lower curved surfaces(12,13) are extended/curved from the upper and lower ends of the adhesion surface. A light guide panel(20) is inserted between the upper and lower curved surfaces of the lamp cover and disperses the light emitted from the plural LEDs. A stopper is protruded to at least one surface between the upper and lower curved surfaces of the lamp cover so that the distance between the light guide panel and the LED is maintained. The stopper is a rib or a hooking jaw longitudinally formed at the upper and lower surfaces of the lamp cover so that the excessive contact of the light guide panel and the LED is prevented. The side cross-section of the lamp cover is formed as a C-shape.
