An acoustic device where an influence that a magnetic field formed by an external speaker imposes on magnetic sensors can be reduced. When a portable telephone (2) is placed on a cradle (3) so as to fit in a recess (25) in the cradle (3), an acoustic signal terminal (36) of the portable telephone (2) and an acoustic signal terminal (22) of the cradle (3) are connected, and an acoustic signal of the portable telephone (2) is outputted from a speaker (23). The speaker (23) and the magnetic sensors, such as an open/close sensor (42) and a geomagnetism sensor (43), of the portable telephone (2) are arranged at positions not superposed on each other.
