An inside structure for a dimple of a golf ball is provided to secure good perform and a driving distance in hitting the golf ball with heads of various golf clubs, to increase a contact area of a hitting surface, and to decrease deformation of the golf ball coming into contact with the head of the golf club. In an inside structure for a dimple(11) of a golf ball, plural recessed dimples are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the golf ball. Projections(12) of a predetermined shape are formed in the bottom surface of all or some of the dimples. The height(h) of the projection is 1/8~1/3 times as long as an average depth(D) of the dimple. An area of the projection is 1/16~1/4 times as big as an average area of the dimple.
