A method for manufacturing semi-reinforced glass for a display device is provided to obtain a low-weight and thin glass panel, and to allow slimness of a glass panel of 2mm or less. A method for manufacturing semi-reinforced glass for a display device comprises the steps of: dividing the inner part of the heating zone of a furnace(10) into several grid-like regions, including a center region, left region and right region in the transverse direction and at least four regions in the longitudinal direction; disposing blowers(30) on the top and bottom of the furnace for circulating the air inside the furnace and providing an air supply nozzle(40) in the heating zone; and heating semi-reinforced glass in the heating zone by atomizing the air to the top and the bottom of the furnace in such a manner that at least nine regions defined in the heating zone in the longitudinal direction are subjected to air atomization in a different amount of air, while controlling the temperature of each region individually.
