Verfahren zur Herstellung von Bunt- oder Musterfaerbungen an synthetischen Polyamid-Textilstoffen

Multicoloured or patterned dyeings are produced on textile materials of synthetic polyamides containing at least two different polyamides differing in amine end group content by at least 20 units (the units being milli-equivalents per gram of polyamide) by dyeing with an aqueous bath containing at least one water-soluble reactive dyes. The dyebath may further contain disperse dyes or disperse dyes may be applied from a second dyebath. The dyebath may also contain inorganic salts, e.g. Na2SO4, NH4OOCCH3 or Na3PO4, non-ionic, cationic or anionic surfactants, urea, benzyl alcohol, tannic acid and synthetic tanning agents such as sulphonated sulphurised phenol. The textile materials may be yarn, knitted or woven fabrics or tufted carpets. The specified polyamides are nylon 6 and nylon 66 which may be an amine end group content ranging from 35 to 130 units. Examples are given.
