Dusting of primary aromatic carbocyclic amines, and their salts, e.g. hydrochlorides or sulphates, is reduced by mixing with the amine 0À25 to 9% by weight based on the amine of a reaction product of 5 to 8 mols. ethylene oxide and 1 mol. of a fatty alcohol of coconut oil or of palm-kernel-oil. Preferred compositions contain 50 to 91% by weight amine and optionally an inorganic alkali-metal salt. The amines may be of the benzene, azobenzene, diphenyl, diphenylamine, naphthalene or anthracene series. The term " a fatty alcohol of coconut or palm-kernel oil" means the alcohol obtained by hydrogenation of the corresponding natural fatty acid of coconut or pal-kernel oil. |
