<p>A P2P file transfer system and a method thereof are provided to transfer a file in an environment, such as an NAT(Network Address Translation), getting P2P file transfer unstable and relay the file transfer through a separate server if the file transfer is unstable by monitoring a P2P file transfer state. A P2P node management system(100) manages information of user clients(104-108) connected through the network and provides the information of the connected user client by responding to a request of one user client. The user client information includes ID information and address information. A P2P application(110) is installed to each user client and transfers the user ID/address information to the P2P node management system when the user client is connected to the P2P node management system. A relay server(102) relays the file transfer between the first and second user client if the first/second user connected to the P2P node management system fails in the P2P file transfer by direction connection between the P2P applications.</p> |
