A data processing device, a driving method thereof and a display apparatus having the same are provided to improve response speed of a liquid crystal device by feeding back compensation data generated from frame data to a memory. A data processing device includes a memory(110), and first and second compensating units(120,130). The memory outputs first compensation data(G'n-1), which is compensated based on first frame data. The first compensating unit generates second compensation data(G'n) based on the first compensation data and second frame data(Gn), and stores the second compensation data to the memory after the first compensation data is output from the memory. The second compensating unit generates third compensation data(G"n-1) based on the second frame data and the first compensation data.
