An apparatus for displaying RPM of a vehicle steering wheel is provided to prevent accidents derived from sudden start by notifying a driver of the RPM of the steering wheel. An apparatus for displaying RPM of a vehicle steering wheel comprises a display unit(12) installed at the steering wheel(10) to inform a driver of the current RPM (revolutions per minute) of the steering wheel. A detection unit is installed at a steering column to detect the RPM of the steering wheel(10) if the steering column rotates. A controller displays the RPM of the steering wheel(10) on the display unit(12) according to signals received from the detection unit. The display unit(12) comprises a display window installed at the front surface of the steering wheel(10). When the driver rotates the steering wheel(10) rightward by one turn, the display unit(12) displays a value of +1.
