CRANE ARRANGEMENT

A tiltable crane mast with at least a two-armed lifting link has long been a common feature at the back of truck beds used for timber transport. The disadvantage of these has been that the necessary torque arm for the lifting cylinder has shortened in relation to that for the mast device. The present invention eliminates this disadvantage by arranging the lifting cylinder parallel to the mast arm and having one of the cylinder's ends connected (via a pivot axle) next to the mast arm's lower bearing and the other connected (via a pivot axle) to a link that has the character of a two-armed lever that is itself connected to a point where the two-armed lifting link adjoins/connects to the crane mast.
