The invention is relating to a Container (1) for a vehicle with a bottom plate (2) of which two opposite edges (3, 4) are practically parallel, and two base struts (5, 6) which are fixed to the bottom plate (2) and which extend along each of these two parallel edges (3, 4) between a front side (7) and a rear side (8) of the container (1). The distance (A) between both base struts (3, 4) on the front side (7) of the container (1) is smaller than the distance (B) between the base struts (3, 4) on the rear side (8) of the container (1).
