A protection device for a photographing device is provided to prevent internal mis-operation and breakdown by automatically opening or closing the inside of the photographing device by change operation of a lens barrel and shutting off inflow of foreign matters. A protection device for a photographing device including a main body(70) having an opening part(71) and a lens barrel(80) coupled to the main body comprises a front surface part(10), a rear surface part(50) and a protection cover(31). The front surface part includes a front surface transparent part(15) corresponding to the first guide and the opening part. The rear surface part includes a rear surface transparent part(55) corresponding to the second guide and the opening part. The protection cover opens or closes the opening part while moving along the first guide and the second guide by rotation of the lens barrel, and is located between the front surface part and the rear surface part.
