A protecting device 1 for protecting the pivot point 2 of a bidirectional swing door. The device can be used to protect the pivot point from damage or repair a damaged pivot point. The protecting device is secured in place using bolt through fixings through side holes 3 which prevent splitting of the door. The device can be used on the top or bottom pivot points of the door. |
