An adhesive agent for joining an electromagnetic wave blocking film and an optical film and a display panel filter element containing the same are provided to sufficiently fill up an aperture of a mesh-type metal foil with the adhesive agent by heating and pressing and to secure durability under high temperature and high humid conditions by keeping the storage modulus at autoclave treatment temperature within a specific range. An adhesive agent for joining an electromagnetic wave blocking film and an optical film has storage modulus at 70°C over 7.00x10^4Pa and storage modulus at 23°C over 1.00x10^5Pa, and peak temperature of a loss tangent over -15°C. The adhesive agent is made of acryl copolymer containing acrylic alkylester elastomer and nitrogen containing vinyl monomer.
