SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING THE GENERAL TELEPHONE NUMBER SERVICE USING THE BIDDING PRICE

A system and a method for providing a key number service according to a bidding price are provided to guide company information categorized into each business/area to a caller making a call to a key number in order of the bidding prices by assigning the common key number to the companies included in the same/similar business category or/and placed in the same/neighboring area. A key number service providing server(31) registers the company making a bid for the key number service while the common key number is assigned to the companies, and offsets the bidding price of the company if call connection between the teller and the company through the key number is informed from an intelligent switchboard(40). If the caller connects the call through the key number, the intelligent switchboard receives the company information corresponding to the key number from the server and guides the company information to the caller. If the caller requests the call for the predetermined company, the intelligent switchboard connects the call between the caller and the company by receiving a phone number of the company from the server.
